San Francisco, CA – The 151st anniversary of the San Francisco Italian Heritage Parade will take place this October 13, 2019, to coincide with Italian Heritage month. Started in 1869, the parade is one of the oldest celebrating Italian culture and the contributions of both native Italians and Italian-Americans to America and the Bay Area. The parade will start at 12:30 PM on Sunday, October 13, 2019, in Fisherman’s Wharf as tradition dictates, and proceed down Columbus Avenue, ending at Washington Square Park.

The Italian Heritage Parade is a fun-filled parade that gets better every year. Marchers and onlookers represent the diversity of the Bay Area and include not only dozens of local Italian organizations and clubs but also local elected officials, local businesses and performers including numerous local marching bands, performing groups and civic organizations. The parade has become a marquee event during the last day of the annual Fleet Week event honoring the United States Armed Forces. Grand Marshals and other special guests will be announced soon. Please join us on October 13, 2019, in North Beach, San Francisco to celebrate our Italian culture in the Bay Area.
