Who are members of the Court of Queen Isabella?

The Court of Queen Isabella consists of outstanding Italian-American young women who uphold important Italian traditions while exemplifying the keystone values of Italian Heritage.  Furthermore, the Court represents the Board of Directors, the Italian Heritage Parade, and the local Italian community throughout the year at various Italian functions and events.

How is the Court of Queen Isabella selected?

The Court of Queen Isabella is selected through an interview process consisting of a panel of judges. The judges look for poise, grace, community involvement, participation in the Italian community, strong speaking skills, and a commitment to their Italian heritage. The members of the Court of Queen Isabella will serve a one year term and will participate in many festivities representing their Italian culture.

What does it mean to be on the Court of Queen Isabella?

The Court of Queen Isabella is the primary focal point of the Italian Heritage Parade.  Being a member of the court provides a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the incredible achievements of Italian-Americans in our community and to educate others about the multi-faceted Italian culture. All members should recognize and represent the ideals of the Italian-American community: hard work, the importance of family and faith, and a love of life.  Former members look upon the experience as unforgettable and once-in-a-lifetime.
